You have a strong background in machine learning and software engineering, with a proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments. Your experience includes working with large datasets and applying advanced algorithms to solve complex problems. You are passionate about improving mental healthcare through technology and have a deep understanding of user experience in healthcare applications.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers. You are comfortable leading projects and mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative team environment. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as the field of machine learning evolves.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of the matching system that connects patients with the right mental health providers. You will design and implement machine learning algorithms that enhance search and discovery features, ensuring that users can easily find the right therapist for their needs. You will work closely with the Ranking & Relevance team to combine machine learning with a deep understanding of patient and provider experiences.

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment. You will collaborate with data engineers to ensure that data pipelines are efficient and scalable, enabling the team to leverage large datasets effectively. You will also conduct experiments to validate model performance and iterate on solutions based on user feedback and data analysis.
