Who you are
You have a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, along with over 6 years of full-time experience in machine learning engineering. Your expertise lies in deep learning and optimization algorithms, and you are well-versed in ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. You have a proven track record of building and productionizing innovative end-to-end machine learning solutions, demonstrating your ability to tackle complex challenges effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and science partners. Your strong analytical skills enable you to identify strategic technical investments that push the efficiency frontier and boost business growth. You are passionate about enhancing user experiences and optimizing incentive efficiency across various verticals, including food and grocery.
Desirable
Experience in managing end-to-end project execution, from scoping and offline evaluation to experimentation, production, and post-launch operations is a plus. You are comfortable leading teams to design and implement machine learning and optimization solutions that meet ambitious business goals. Your ability to influence the direction of technical solutions is key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide technical leadership in machine learning, guiding your team to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. You will lead the design and implementation of ML and optimization solutions that enhance incentive efficiency and user experience. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are scoped accurately, evaluated thoroughly, and executed efficiently.
