Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers, ensuring that the infrastructure you build meets their needs and enhances their workflows.

You are passionate about applying frontier AI to real-world impact — you understand the importance of healthcare technology and are motivated by the opportunity to improve patient outcomes. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Desirable

Experience with healthcare data systems is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies that can enhance the infrastructure you work on.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and operate the infrastructure that screens every hospital patient every day — your work will directly impact how clinicians prioritize patient care. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and ML engineers to ensure that the data pipelines you create are robust and efficient, enabling real-time risk ranking of patients.

You will be responsible for setting up secure connections and transforming data from hospital EHRs, ensuring that the data flows seamlessly through the system. Your expertise in AWS and Terraform will be crucial as you deploy machine learning models that clinicians rely on each morning.

You will also have the opportunity to shape the product as HealthLeap expands its capabilities to screen for every major condition — your contributions will help ensure that no patient falls through the cracks. You will be part of a small, dedicated team that is passionate about making a tangible difference in healthcare.

What we offer

HealthLeap offers a competitive base salary of $275,000 along with meaningful equity in an early-stage company. We cover 100% of healthcare premiums and provide unlimited PTO with a recommended minimum of 20 days.
