Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting, particularly in tax compliance and reporting. Your experience includes working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial practices and adherence to regulations. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to identify opportunities for optimization in tax processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable liaising with both internal teams and external advisors. Your ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is key to your success in this role. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on relevant tax law changes to mitigate risks for the company.
What you'll do
As a Tax & Reporting Accountant at HelloFresh, you will audit and reconcile tariffs with importers to validate accuracy and reduce tariff expenses. You will analyze and manage VAT and corporate tax deductions for Swedish representation expenses, identifying opportunities for optimization and increased recovery. Preparing quarterly corporate tax accruals and ensuring timely submission of preliminary tax payments and assessments will be part of your responsibilities, as well as driving local transfer pricing compliance. You will prepare local annual statutory accounts and coordinate with external audit teams for final approval and submission. Maintaining continuous tax compliance will be crucial, including preparing timely submissions and tracking relevant tax law changes to mitigate risk.
