Agoda is hiring a Tax Data Reporting Specialist to manage global digital platform tax reporting regimes. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations. This role requires expertise in tax data analysis and implementation.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in tax data analysis and reporting, ideally with experience in digital services and compliance with international tax regulations. Your analytical skills allow you to navigate complex tax frameworks, and you are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with product, tech, and legal teams. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all tax reporting requirements are met efficiently.
Desirable
Experience with EU’s DAC7 and similar data reporting frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with tax technology solutions and data management tools will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. A background in finance or accounting can also be beneficial, as it complements your understanding of tax regulations.
What you'll do
As a Tax Data Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis and implementation of global digital platform tax reporting regimes. This includes staying updated on evolving tax regulations and ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions. You will collaborate closely with product, tech, supply, legal, and senior leadership teams to align tax reporting processes with business objectives. Your role will involve analyzing data to identify trends and discrepancies, preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, and implementing technology solutions to streamline tax reporting workflows. You will also participate in training sessions to educate team members on tax compliance and reporting best practices.
