What you'll do

As a Senior Applied Scientist at HelloFresh, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the company predicts and plans customer demand across the US supply chain. You will develop, prototype, and deploy forecasting models that directly influence menu planning, procurement, and fulfillment processes. Your work will involve collaborating closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to design, test, and implement advanced forecasting and decision systems.

You will explore and apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to enhance forecast accuracy and enable better planning decisions — your insights will help reduce waste and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain. You will also be responsible for building scalable data pipelines that support the forecasting models, ensuring that they are robust and efficient.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. You will share your expertise in modeling and scientific methods, helping to elevate the overall capabilities of the team.
