You are a commercially savvy, data-driven Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in finance and technology. You thrive in environments where finance meets technology, constantly seeking ways to build reliable and scalable processes. With your technical expertise in SQL, you dive deep into complex datasets, turning raw data into strategic insights that drive executive decision-making. You possess excellent stakeholder management skills, allowing you to influence and build strong relationships quickly through effective communication. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited about bringing your experience to an ever-changing business landscape.
Desirable
Experience in finance transformation initiatives and familiarity with financial workflows would be advantageous. A background in data visualization tools could also enhance your ability to generate insights.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of generating timely and reliable weekly performance reporting and insights for the UK Management Board. Your focus will be on providing actionable insights, analysis, and commentary that inform strategic decisions. You will collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies in current financial workflows and lead initiatives to streamline and automate manual processes.
You will support the month-end accounting process, ensuring a high level of accuracy in management reporting. Your ability to interpret complex data sources will enable you to produce meaningful business insights, explaining not just the 'what' but also the 'why' behind the data.
Your responsibilities will include weekly and monthly reporting, finance transformation initiatives, and month-end support. You will work closely with stakeholders to help them understand their performance through data, ensuring that insights are actionable and relevant.
