Who you are
You have a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and are able to design, implement, and deliver maintainable and high-quality code. Your problem-solving acumen allows you to tackle complex challenges effectively. Proficiency in SQL and the Python stack is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a cross-functional team that integrates data engineers and analysts.
Desirable
While not mandatory, experience with data governance and quality assurance processes will be beneficial. Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, Databricks, and Kafka will set you apart, as will any previous experience in a data-driven organization.
What you'll do
As a Data Engineer in Global Data Products, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex and scalable ETL pipelines that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with data producers and software developers to ensure that business requirements are met and that data products are robust and reliable. Your role will involve driving continuous improvement to current data processing workflows and engaging with various stakeholders, including Marketing and Product Analytics, to align on data needs and priorities. You will also work with our cross-organizational data engineering chapter to adapt the latest tools and techniques to the needs of HelloFresh, ensuring that our data assets are of the highest quality and reliability.
