What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production initiatives and goals set forth by the area supervisor. You will ensure that machines in your area of responsibility are kept fully functional and operated in accordance with plant standards. This includes effective implementation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) initiatives and recommendations from upper management. You will visually inspect finished products to ensure quality and adjust machine settings accordingly. Additionally, you will ensure that the production line runs smoothly and communicate any issues that prevent effective runs to your supervisor. You will set up machines according to the production schedule, ensuring all equipment and materials are available for the run. Anticipating the availability of scheduled materials and having preventive maintenance tasks ready will be crucial to avoid gaps in production. You will also perform light industrial maintenance and troubleshooting, such as wrap roll replacement and cup fill, while ensuring the overall safety of the operation of equipment.
