Who you are
You have a strong background in workplace safety management, with a focus on OSHA compliance and safety training programs. Your experience includes developing and managing safety initiatives that promote a secure work environment. You are skilled in conducting Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and have a deep understanding of hazard control strategies. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with management and safety teams to drive improvements in safety practices.
You are a proactive leader who can inspire change and motivate teams to prioritize safety. Your technical knowledge in environmental health and safety (EHS) controls allows you to effectively oversee emergency response activities and manage site emergency response teams. You are detail-oriented, ensuring that all necessary recordkeeping and reporting, including OSHA 300 Logs, are meticulously maintained.
What you'll do
As a Safety Manager at HelloFresh, you will lead workplace safety initiatives for our entire US Operations. You will collaborate with the Regional Senior Manager of Safety to develop and implement safety programs that align with HelloFreshβs vision. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting safety training for new hires, and overseeing ongoing safety training for all employees. You will chair the Safety Committee, leading efforts to improve building conditions and work practices.
You will collect and analyze data to identify safety trends and develop corrective actions. Your role will involve assisting management during post-accident root cause analyses and acting as the subject matter expert for safety and security questions. You will also ensure that contractors and visitors adhere to HelloFresh safety policies while on-site. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting a culture of safety and security within the organization.
