What you'll do
As a Procurement Buyer at HelloFresh, you will place purchase orders to allocated vendors for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring the correct price, quantity, and buffer. You will partner with HelloFresh distribution centers, offsite production, and warehouse locations, as well as suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and that inventories match demand requirements. You will drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes, testing new processes, and implementing updates. Analyzing purchasing data will be a key part of your role, ensuring the accuracy of information and purchasing procedures while identifying any discrepancies.
You will resolve unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing, or quality/performance quickly and professionally. Conducting all weekly operations processes will be part of your responsibilities, including updating POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, scrubbing data, and managing inventory levels. Supporting your teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are substituted due to procurement issues will be essential. You will work with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing, and improving on our offsite production capabilities.
What we offer
HelloFresh offers a competitive salary range of $62,000—$70,000 USD for both Texas and Arizona. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact the company's success.
