You are data-driven and curious about what insights can be derived from numbers, and you have strong adaptability skills to navigate high-change situations. You hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 1-3 years of procurement and/or sourcing experience. Your strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office will aid you in your daily tasks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will place purchase orders to allocated vendors for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring the correct price, quantity, and buffer. You will partner with HelloFresh distribution centers, offsite production, and warehouse locations, as well as suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and that inventories match demand requirements. You will drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending changes, testing new processes, and implementing updates. Analyzing purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information and purchasing procedures will be a key responsibility, as will resolving any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing, or quality/performance quickly and professionally. You will conduct all weekly operations processes, including updating POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, scrubbing data, and managing inventory levels. Supporting your teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are substituted due to procurement issues will be essential. You will work with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing, and improving on our offsite production capabilities.
