Hermeus is hiring an Integration Engineer - Avionics to support vehicle avionics hardware from design release through build, test, and final delivery. You'll work across Power Distribution, Communications & Compute, and tray build assemblies. This position requires expertise in embedded systems and electrical engineering.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in avionics integration, with experience in hardware design and testing — you've worked on projects that require seamless integration of complex systems and understand the critical nature of performance and readiness for deployment. Your expertise in embedded systems and electrical engineering allows you to bridge the gap between design and production effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all components of the avionics systems are integrated smoothly — your communication skills enable you to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for aviation technology, particularly in high-speed and hypersonic aircraft.
What you'll do
As an Integration Engineer - Avionics at Hermeus, you will play a critical role in supporting the vehicle avionics hardware from design release through to build, test, and final delivery — your responsibilities will include ensuring that all avionics systems are fully integrated and flight-ready. You will work across various domains, including Power Distribution, Communications & Compute, and tray build assemblies, to ensure that all components meet performance standards.
You will collaborate with design engineers to refine specifications and ensure that the hardware meets the necessary requirements for deployment — your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving integration issues that arise during the build and testing phases. You will also be responsible for documenting integration processes and results, contributing to the overall knowledge base of the team.
What we offer
At Hermeus, you will be part of a pioneering team focused on revolutionizing high-speed flight — we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the future of aviation technology.
