Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in aerospace or defense sectors. You understand the complexities of ground segment capabilities and how they integrate with airborne systems. Your ability to prioritize and define product features ensures that operational needs are met effectively. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, test, and flight operations teams to deliver coherent and testable capabilities. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of mission planning, command and control, and telemetry systems. Your communication skills allow you to articulate product vision and requirements clearly to stakeholders.
What you'll do
As the Product Manager for the Ground Segment, you will own the product lifecycle from conception to delivery. You will define and prioritize the capabilities required for mission planning and command and control systems, ensuring they align with customer expectations and program milestones. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop operator-facing tools and mission data workflows that support simulation, test, and flight operations. Your role will involve regular interaction with the Department of Defense to ensure that the ground segment capabilities meet national interests. You will also be responsible for ensuring that integration touchpoints with airborne systems and autonomy services are seamless and effective. You will lead efforts to ensure that ground systems are coherent and demonstrable across various operational environments, including simulation and live flight.
