5+ years of backend engineering experience building high-throughput, low-latency services β you've designed and implemented systems that handle millions of requests and understand the complexities of ad tech environments. You have deep expertise in Java and Spring, and you're familiar with REST API design principles, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
You thrive in fast-paced environments where your work directly impacts platform performance and advertiser success. Your experience includes optimizing real-time bidding logic and ensuring millisecond response times under heavy load. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions, fostering a collaborative team culture.
What you'll do
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the HTS Media team, you will be a core contributor to the engine that powers Hopperβs advertising platform. You will design, build, and scale services that handle ad requests and run auctions, ensuring that travelers receive relevant offers in real-time. Your role will involve tackling complex challenges in the ad tech space, from optimizing bidding algorithms to enhancing system reliability under peak loads.
You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and deliver impactful features.
