You possess a solid understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts, which helps you transform raw data into high-quality datasets for reporting and analysis. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for troubleshooting data issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability across systems.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to understand their data needs and deliver impactful solutions. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Desirable

Experience with real-time data processing and familiarity with machine learning concepts would be a plus, as you may contribute to future ML model development. Knowledge of additional data tools and technologies, such as Docker for containerization, will enhance your ability to deliver robust data solutions.

What you'll do

As the foundational Data Engineer for HTS Media, you will own the data infrastructure that powers Hopper's advertising business. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain real-time data pipelines that process ad impressions, clicks, and conversion events. You will work on transforming raw data into trusted datasets that support advertiser-facing reporting and analytics.

You will collaborate with data scientists to ensure that the data foundation you build supports future machine learning initiatives. This includes designing data models that facilitate easy access to data for analysis and reporting. You will also be responsible for monitoring data quality and implementing best practices for data governance.

In addition to building data pipelines, you will participate in architectural discussions to enhance the scalability and performance of the data infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to experiment with new technologies and methodologies to improve data processing efficiency and reliability.
