What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Flights Platform team, you will take ownership of major feature releases across the flight booking funnel, from search to booking creation. You will design, implement, and deploy high-quality code for new flight product features, ensuring they meet the needs of millions of users. Your role will involve building scalable services that integrate new airline partners, contributing to Hopper's global reach. You will participate in discussions around system design, identifying opportunities to improve service reliability and performance. You will work within a cross-functional team, making substantial code contributions to a complex, high-throughput microservices environment. Your work will be highly visible, directly impacting the user experience and the overall success of Hopper's flight booking engine.
