Your experience includes building and maintaining test frameworks for automated testing, ensuring that software behavior is validated across all mission phases.

Desirable

Experience with flight software development or aerospace systems is a plus. Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and high-fidelity simulations will set you apart. You are eager to contribute to a mission-driven team and are open to learning and adapting to new challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take full ownership of key components of the flight software stack for the Nyx space vehicle. You will design and implement core flight software modules that handle spacecraft control, telemetry, data handling, fault management, and communications. Your work will directly impact the safety and reliability of spaceflight operations.

You will develop in modern C++ and Python, creating support tooling that adheres to best practices in software development. You will also build and maintain test frameworks for automated unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, validating software behavior across mission phases. Additionally, you will create and run high-fidelity simulations to model flight dynamics and subsystem interactions, ensuring that the software is ready for real-world applications.
