You have experience creating looks-like/works-like prototypes at varying levels of fidelity, allowing you to effectively communicate design directions. Your ability to design thoughtful experiences across digital, physical, and hybrid touchpoints ensures that the end user is always at the forefront of your design process. You are adept at producing high-quality visual deliverables that communicate user stories and strategic intent across a variety of industries, including health, financial services, and consumer products.

What you'll do

As a Senior Visual Communication Designer at IDEO, you will be a key contributor on project teams, supporting all phases of the design process—from early exploration and prototyping through to polished, client-facing deliverables. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate research and strategy into compelling visual narratives, contributing to the development and expression of brand identities across various mediums. Your role will involve designing thoughtful experiences that resonate with users, ensuring that your visual storytelling is impactful and engaging.

You will create high-quality visual deliverables that effectively communicate user stories and strategic intent, working across a variety of industries. Your advocacy for exceptional visual craft will be essential as you navigate the complexities of design across different touchpoints. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior designers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within the team.

What we offer

The salary range for this role is $80,000–$100,000 USD, with final offers varying based on candidate experience, location, and other factors.
