Who you are
You are an experienced legal professional with a strong background in providing legal counsel in fast-paced environments. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record of advising on complex legal matters, particularly in technology or gaming sectors. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to translate intricate legal concepts into actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders. Your proactive approach enables you to anticipate legal challenges and provide solutions that align with business objectives. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure compliance while fostering innovation. You are adept at navigating regulatory environments and have a keen understanding of the legal implications of digital ownership and AI-driven analytics in gaming.
Desirable
Experience in the gaming industry or with digital products is a plus. Familiarity with Web3 technologies and their legal implications will set you apart. You are comfortable working in a startup environment and can adapt to the evolving needs of a rapidly growing company. A strong network within the legal community can also be beneficial as you navigate partnerships and compliance issues.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support to Immutable's various teams, ensuring that all products and marketing initiatives comply with applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on intellectual property matters, and guiding the company through its regulatory obligations. You will collaborate with the product and engineering teams to assess the legal implications of new features and technologies, ensuring that the company remains compliant while pushing the boundaries of innovation. Your role will also involve training team members on legal best practices and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. As a senior member of the Legal, Risk & Compliance team, you will contribute to strategic discussions and help shape the company's approach to legal risk management.
