Who you are
You have experience in inventory management and understand the importance of maintaining an adequate supply of materials, parts, tools, and supplies used in maintenance. You are detail-oriented and capable of overseeing compliance with regulations while serving as a liaison for external auditors. Your organizational skills enable you to effectively monitor inventory and coordinate purchasing activities across multiple sites.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting various site departments and corporate projects. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders ensures that all inventory needs are met promptly and efficiently. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to enhance the inventory management process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the storeroom for the Waterway and Chicago Heights locations, overseeing the MRO inventory management process. You will monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to ensure that all departments have the necessary materials and supplies. Compliance with regulations is a key responsibility, and you will serve as a liaison for external auditors while coordinating internal inventory audits.
You will maintain an adequate inventory of materials, parts, tools, and supplies used in maintenance, ensuring that all site departments can operate smoothly.
