Job Description
Who you are
You are an entry-level Security Engineer with a keen interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You have a foundational understanding of security principles and are eager to apply your knowledge in real-time monitoring and incident response. Your ability to read and interpret security-related logs from various sources will be crucial in this role. You are comfortable working in a multi-cloud setup, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and are ready to tackle the challenges that come with it.
You possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security threats. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team will help you thrive in Innovaccer's Security Operations Center (SecOps). You are available to be on call during weekends and off hours, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
What you'll do
As a Security Engineer-I, you will be responsible for real-time monitoring and analysis of security events, ensuring the safety and integrity of Innovaccer's systems. You will engage in incident management, responding to security incidents promptly and effectively. Your role will involve vulnerability management, where you will identify and address potential security weaknesses in the infrastructure.
You will work closely with a team of security professionals, gaining exposure to various security domains, including endpoint security and event monitoring. Your responsibilities will include investigating security incidents, analyzing logs, and reporting findings to enhance the overall security posture of the organization. You will also participate in continuous learning opportunities to stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
