What you'll do

As the Director of Finance Transformation at Instacart, you will lead critical initiatives aimed at modernizing our finance infrastructure. You will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and be responsible for driving 5-7 major systems transformations, including revenue systems, billing, e-invoicing, and electronic invoice presentment and payment. Your role will involve optimizing the end-to-end month-end close process to enhance efficiency and accuracy. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that financial operations align with the company's strategic objectives and support its growth.

You will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement within the finance function and implementing best practices to streamline operations. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team. You will work closely with technology partners to ensure that the systems implemented meet the needs of the organization and drive value.
