Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and data analysis, with a strong background in developing production-ready ML/AI systems. Your expertise in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch enable you to tackle complex problems effectively. You have a proven track record of driving impactful initiatives and mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business growth. Your analytical mindset allows you to define roadmaps and prioritize projects that align with organizational goals. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive decision-making and improve incentive allocation strategies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of machine learning solutions that optimize incentive allocation within Instacart's growth organization. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define project scopes and deliverables, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior team members, conducting experiments to validate models, and iterating on solutions based on feedback and performance metrics.
You will also be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities within the incentive space, driving initiatives that contribute to substantial business growth. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations, ensuring that data-driven insights are integrated into strategic planning.

We offer competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $201,000 to $253,000 depending on your location and experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants, along with comprehensive benefits that support your well-being and professional growth.
