Mobile Engineer • Senior

Instawork is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to develop an AI-enabled app for robotics data collection. You'll leverage your expertise in iOS and Android development, particularly with Swift and ARKit, to enhance user experience. This role requires at least 5 years of mobile app development experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced mobile app developer with at least 5 years of iOS and Android development experience, excluding internships. As an iOS expert, you have a minimum of 2 years of native Swift programming experience, showcasing your ability to create high-quality applications. You are scalability-focused, having published apps that are used by a distributed, global user base. Your customer experience obsession drives you to continuously improve the app experience based on user feedback and app analytics. You also have nice-to-have experience with ARKit, XR apps, and/or data collection apps, and have shipped production code at an early-stage or mid-stage startup. Cross-platform development experience, ideally including Android and Unity, is a plus.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end development of the custom, AI-enabled app used for distributed robotics data collection. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the app meets the needs of users and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring the app is scalable and reliable. You will also be involved in user testing and feedback sessions to gather insights that will inform future updates and enhancements. As part of the Instawork Robotics team, you will contribute to the mission of creating meaningful economic opportunities through innovative technology solutions.
