You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in Figma and Adobe XD allows you to translate complex ideas into intuitive interfaces that resonate with users. You understand the importance of collaboration and have experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to bring your designs to life. You are passionate about design and technology, particularly in the realm of AI, and are eager to push the boundaries of what is possible in customer service design. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable iterating on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate your design decisions and advocate for user needs within the team.

Desirable

Experience with AI-driven products or customer service solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with user research methodologies and A/B testing. A background in UX design or interaction design would also be beneficial, as it complements your product design skills and enhances your ability to create seamless user experiences.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at Intercom, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of customer service through design. You will lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring that our AI agent, Fin, provides an exceptional user experience. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define the design vision and strategy for our products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights that inform your design decisions, as well as creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your ideas. You will also be responsible for conducting usability testing and iterating on designs based on user feedback, ensuring that our products are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
