You are familiar with cloud environments, particularly AWS, and have experience with continuous integration and deployment practices. Your knowledge of data storage solutions includes working with Datomic and DynamoDB, allowing you to design systems that effectively manage and retrieve data. What you'll do

As a Lead Software Engineer at Nubank, you will be responsible for designing and implementing horizontally scalable microservices that meet the needs of our growing customer base. You will leverage your expertise in Clojure and functional programming to develop robust solutions that enhance our financial services platform. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, guiding them through complex technical challenges, and helping them grow in their careers.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence technical direction and ensure that our solutions align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing high throughput jobs and managing inter-service communication using Kafka, ensuring that our systems are efficient and reliable. You will also play a key role in our continuous integration and deployment processes, utilizing AWS to deliver updates and new features seamlessly.
