You possess a deep understanding of intelligent automation and its application in maintaining high availability across complex systems.

You are proficient in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Your programming skills in Python enable you to develop robust automation solutions that enhance system reliability and performance. You are also familiar with infrastructure as code practices, particularly using Terraform, to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Nubank, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Data Platform's reliability. You will lead the Data Infra SRE team in defining strategic initiatives that enhance the scalability and performance of our data infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on moving beyond traditional SRE practices by investing in intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement best practices in reliability and performance monitoring. Your responsibilities will include defining and executing the Archipelago evolution plan, which aims to transition our architecture towards a more resilient and scalable model. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our systems can handle the demands of millions of customers across multiple regions.
