You have extensive experience in backend engineering, particularly with C++. You understand the intricacies of building scalable systems and have a passion for developing innovative solutions in the AI space. Your background includes working on high-performance applications that handle large volumes of data and queries.
You are familiar with API design and implementation, and you have experience working with real-time systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to bring ambitious projects to life. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you are always looking for ways to optimize and improve existing systems.
Desirable
Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks relevant to AI and backend development would be a plus. Familiarity with cloud services and data ingestion processes is also beneficial.
What you'll do
As a Staff Backend Engineer at Inworld AI, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our API-based model services, including our custom TTS models. You will work on ambitious projects that aim to push the boundaries of AI technology, ensuring that our platform can handle thousands of queries per second.
You will collaborate closely with AI researchers and engineers to integrate new features and improve existing functionalities. Your role will involve designing scalable backend architectures and optimizing data ingestion processes to support our real-time orchestration platform.
You will also participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and helping to foster a culture of learning and innovation within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our products and the experiences of our users.
What we offer
Inworld AI offers a competitive salary range of C$150,000 - C$240,000, along with equity and benefits.
