Your experience with databases, particularly PostgreSQL, enables you to optimize data storage and retrieval for performance.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and AI researchers. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you can navigate complex technical challenges with ease. You are passionate about AI technologies and are excited about the potential of multimodal models in consumer applications.

Experience with real-time data processing and telemetry data ingestion is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks will help you contribute to the innovative projects at Inworld AI. You are also open to mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge with the team.

What you'll do

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Inworld AI, you will be instrumental in developing new products and enhancing existing ones. You will work on API-based model services, including custom TTS models and other AI-driven functionalities. Your role will involve designing scalable backend architectures that can handle thousands of queries per second, ensuring high availability and performance.

You will collaborate with AI researchers to integrate advanced machine learning models into the backend services, enabling seamless user experiences. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and participating in architectural discussions to shape the future of the platform.

You will also be involved in data ingestion processes, ensuring that telemetry data from the Inworld Runtime is efficiently processed and stored. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of the Inworld AI platform, making it a leader in the industry.
