You are a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in product development, particularly in the medical device industry. You have experience in tackling technical activities for hardware projects, including device design and packaging. Your expertise in mechanical and materials engineering allows you to conduct thorough failure analysis and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance patient care.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are dedicated to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to innovate and optimize processes.

Desirable

Experience with wearable technology and a passion for advancing healthcare solutions would be a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device industry is also advantageous.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading key development initiatives for wearable medical products, from early-stage research through to commercialization. You will apply your mechanical engineering expertise to design and develop new devices, ensuring they meet both functional and regulatory standards. You will also be involved in sustaining engineering efforts, addressing any discrepancies that arise during the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with a close-knit team of engineers, sharing your insights and contributing to a culture of innovation. Your role will require you to engage in hands-on work, utilizing tools like AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs and prototypes. You will also participate in failure analysis, helping to identify and resolve issues that may impact product performance.
