Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience coding with AI technologies and are fully fluent in the modern AI stack. Your background includes meaningful experience with TypeScript, and you are comfortable working on-site in downtown Manhattan some days a week. You are passionate about building scalable AI services and have a strong understanding of integrating LLMs, computer vision models, and recommender systems into various applications.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to take ownership of your work. You have experience with Cloudflare's dev stack and possess depth in Cloud and DevOps technologies, including AWS and GCP. Your familiarity with Unity is a plus, as you will be working on projects that require integration with mobile and web clients.

Desirable

Experience building automation bots or phone automation is a nice-to-have. You are also familiar with engineering best practices in observability, security, and CI/CD, which will help you promote these practices within the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the shared backend and move quickly on green-field features, pushing code to production every week. Your main responsibility will be to code aggressively and ship quickly with AI, creating and maintaining scalable AI services that include chat/memory and image/video generation pipelines. You will also build and maintain reusable boilerplate templates across projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency in development.

You will integrate AI models into mobile, Unity, and web clients, standing up reliable infrastructure for payments, rewards, order routing, and analytics. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of Italic's flagship consumer products, enabling the company to deliver luxury goods directly to consumers.
