Jamf is hiring a Revenue Accountant to coordinate revenue posting and reporting. You'll ensure accurate accounting of transactions impacting revenue and gain an understanding of software revenue recognition principles. This role is available remotely in Minneapolis, Eau Claire, or Austin.

You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and are eager to work collaboratively within a revenue team. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. You are familiar with revenue recognition principles, particularly ASC 606, and are keen to learn more about how these principles apply to software revenue. You have experience in reviewing contracts and making necessary adjustments to ensure accurate revenue timing. Your analytical skills enable you to perform revenue allocations effectively, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
What you'll do
As a Revenue Accountant at Jamf, you will coordinate the posting and reporting of contract revenue schedules and service revenue. You will review renewal contracts and make adjustments to ensure that revenue timing is accurate. You will learn and apply software revenue recognition principles, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. Additionally, you will assist in preparing revenue reports for management and external reporting, playing a crucial role in the financial operations of the company.
