You have 7+ years of experience in programming server-side languages, particularly Java, and are well-versed in Spring and RESTful services. Your background includes working with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, allowing you to design efficient data storage solutions. You possess a strong understanding of modern CI environments, including version control and build tools, and are familiar with CI servers. Your experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Chart showcases your ability to manage containerized applications effectively.

You have a solid grasp of software engineering concepts, including concurrent programming, common data structures, and algorithms. Your problem-solving skills are superior, creative, and innovative, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in software development. You thrive in collaborative environments, mentoring new team members and promoting continuous improvement in product functionality.

What you'll do

As a Senior R&D Engineer at JFrog, you will take part in all aspects of the development cycle, writing high-quality, testable, and efficient code. You will support and maintain the production environment, ensuring that backend services operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve creating backend services and jobs, working closely with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will also mentor new team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

You will initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of product functionality, contributing to the overall success of JFrog's mission to reinvent DevOps. Your ability to think quickly and work fast will be essential as you deliver high-quality code using the latest frameworks and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets the needs of thousands of customers, including many Fortune 100 companies.
