Who you are
You have a strong background in security engineering with experience leading teams β you've successfully managed security operations and incident response programs, ensuring the safety of software delivery processes. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Go, allowing you to guide the development of security tools effectively.
You excel in communication, translating complex technical risks into actionable insights for stakeholders β your ability to articulate security strategies helps align team goals with broader company objectives. You are familiar with security analytics tools like ELK Stack and Splunk, which you have used to monitor and respond to security incidents.
Your experience with container security, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes, enables you to oversee secure deployment practices in cloud environments β you understand the nuances of managing security in modern software development practices. You are also knowledgeable in identity management solutions, including IAM/IDM and SSO/SAML, ensuring that access controls are robust and effective.
What you'll do
As the SecOps Team Lead at JFrog, you will lead a team of high-performing SecOps engineers, providing technical guidance and career development opportunities β your leadership will be crucial in maturing the Incident Response program and automating security operations. You will define the vision for security engineering operations, aligning team goals with company-wide KPIs to ensure that security remains a priority in all development processes.
You will act as the primary escalation point for high-priority security incidents, leading the triage, containment, and post-mortem processes β your expertise will help mitigate risks and improve response times. Overseeing the design and execution of vulnerability management strategies will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that JFrog's software delivery remains secure.
Collaboration with R&D and DevOps teams will be essential as you work to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle β you will advocate for security best practices and help foster a culture of security awareness within the organization. Your role will also involve reviewing and guiding the development of security tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the team and the organization.
