You are comfortable collaborating across time zones and have a solid understanding of operating systems internals as well as SaaS front-end development. You are adaptable and believe that good engineering transcends specific technologies.

Your expertise includes working with modern programming languages and frameworks, particularly Go and Node.js. You have experience with containerization technologies like Docker, and you understand how to leverage tools such as the ELK Stack for monitoring and logging. You are also familiar with caching solutions like Redis, which enhances application performance.

You thrive in a remote work environment, effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. You are proactive in seeking solutions and enjoy tackling complex engineering challenges.

Desirable

Experience with additional technologies or frameworks is a plus, but you are open to learning and adapting to new tools as needed. A background in developing secure and scalable applications will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at JumpCloud, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a unified open directory platform that enables secure management of identities and devices. You will work across the full technology stack, contributing to both backend and frontend development.
