Who you are

As the Director of International Benefits at Justworks, you will be responsible for building and owning the strategy, design, and execution of employee benefits programs across all international markets for our Employer of Record (EOR) business. You will define and implement a multi-country benefits strategy that delivers competitive, compliant offerings around the world. Your role will involve managing vendor and partner relationships end to end, ensuring that benefits are seamlessly integrated into our global operations and in-app experience. You will lead a distributed team of regional experts, motivating them to achieve shared goals and drive the success of our benefits initiatives.

You have a strong background in benefits strategy and execution, with experience in managing complex international programs. Your ability to analyze data and market trends will be crucial in developing offerings that not only attract but also retain EOR customers. You are comfortable navigating compliance requirements across different jurisdictions and can effectively communicate the value of benefits to both internal stakeholders and external partners. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences that contribute to overall business success.

Desirable

Experience in a startup environment or with Employer of Record services would be advantageous. Familiarity with international labor laws and benefits compliance is a plus. You should also possess strong leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take the lead in crafting a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with Justworks' mission and values. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our benefits offerings are competitive and meet the diverse needs of our international workforce. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to identify trends and best practices in employee benefits, as well as collaborating with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

You will also oversee the implementation of benefits programs, ensuring that they are compliant with local regulations and effectively communicated to employees. Your role will involve regular assessments of program effectiveness, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments as necessary. You will be the primary point of contact for any benefits-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
