You have extensive experience in corporate accounting, ideally with a focus on controllership functions. You understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and have a proven track record of ensuring compliance and audit readiness. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively manage global accounting teams and foster collaboration across departments.
You are data-driven and thrive in a high-growth environment, where you can build strong foundations for accounting policies and processes. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. Your ability to partner with stakeholders in FP&A, Internal Audit, Legal, Product, and Engineering is essential for driving the company's financial strategy.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the controllership function at Justworks, overseeing the integrity of the general ledger and ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial data that supports audit, compliance, and internal reporting. Your focus will be on building a strong foundation of accounting policies and process integrity, with a clear mandate to scale these systems as the company grows.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.
