Who you are
As a Manager in Global Immigration & Mobility, you will be the in-house expert for immigration and mobility programs. You will advise internal teams and employees on all aspects of immigration strategy, work authorization, and visa sponsorship. Your focus will primarily be on U.S. immigration, but you will also support global mobility as the business expands. You are passionate about creating a seamless and compliant experience for candidates and employees navigating immigration processes.
You have a strong understanding of immigration laws and practices, and you are skilled at providing guidance on complex immigration cases. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with diverse teams to solve HR issues. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically will be key in this role, as you will be supporting individuals through often challenging processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will serve as the subject-matter expert on U.S. immigration, advising on cases from initial evaluation through to resolution. You will work closely with various internal teams to ensure that all immigration processes are compliant and efficient. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing immigration policies, providing training to staff on immigration matters, and staying updated on changes in immigration laws that may affect the organization.
You will also be responsible for managing relationships with external immigration counsel and vendors, ensuring that the organization receives the best possible support for its immigration needs. As the business grows, you will play a critical role in shaping the global mobility strategy, ensuring that employees have the support they need to relocate and thrive in new environments.
