You are an experienced Senior Security Engineer with a strong focus on AI security, bringing extensive hands-on experience in building and enhancing security solutions for AI systems. You have a proven track record of evaluating the security of software systems that incorporate AI features, and you are adept at designing guardrails to protect data against unique AI threats. Your deep understanding of computing fundamentals and development practices allows you to effectively contribute to the security landscape of AI technologies.

You possess hands-on experience with programming languages such as Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, which are essential for developing secure applications. Your familiarity with *Nix environments and common cybersecurity tools further enhances your capability to safeguard systems against potential vulnerabilities. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to share your knowledge with your team, ensuring that security best practices are integrated into the development process.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive and execute Justworks' AI strategy, focusing on enhancing the security of AI systems. You will evaluate existing software systems for security vulnerabilities and implement robust security measures to protect against AI-specific threats. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that security considerations are embedded in the development lifecycle.

You will also be responsible for staying updated on the latest trends and threats in AI security, allowing you to proactively address potential risks. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization. By working closely with product and engineering teams, you will help shape the security architecture of Justworks' AI initiatives, ensuring that they are resilient against evolving threats.
