Overview

Kiddom is seeking an ELD Curriculum Reviewer to evaluate and provide feedback on ELD lessons for Grades 6-8. This role requires experience in education and a focus on alignment with California ELD standards.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced educator with a strong background in reviewing educational materials, particularly for English Language Development (ELD). You understand the importance of aligning lessons with state standards and have a keen eye for pedagogical effectiveness. Your experience includes working with emergent bilingual students, and you are passionate about creating inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments.

You possess the ability to provide constructive feedback that enhances lesson usability for teachers. Your insights are informed by your practical experience in the classroom, allowing you to evaluate lessons from a teacher's perspective. You are committed to improving educational resources to better serve diverse student populations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will review ELD lessons for Grades 6-8, ensuring they align with California ELD standards. You will evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness of the lessons, providing feedback that enhances their usability for teachers. Your work will directly impact the quality of educational resources available to educators working with emergent bilingual students. You will collaborate with other educators and curriculum developers to refine lessons and ensure they meet the needs of all learners.
