Klaviyo is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer for their People Analytics team to build and manage data products that enhance employee experience. You'll work with SQL, Power BI, and Python to deliver insights that drive organizational performance.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, with a strong focus on data management and business intelligence. Your expertise in SQL allows you to create complex queries that extract meaningful insights from large datasets. You are proficient in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, enabling you to present data in a clear and impactful manner. Your programming skills in Python help you automate data processes and enhance data quality. You understand the importance of data governance and have experience in building data marts that serve as a single source of truth for various stakeholders. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with people leaders to translate their needs into actionable data products. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can independently drive projects from conception to completion.
Desirable
Experience with Looker or similar BI tools is a plus, as is familiarity with HR analytics and employee engagement metrics. A background in data engineering principles will help you align with the broader Data Engineering organizationβs standards and practices. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your work and the team's output.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a single source of truth for people data that drives employee experience initiatives. You will collaborate with People leadership to understand their data needs and translate those into stable data products. Your work will involve standing up curated, documented data marts that make it easy for analysts to access and utilize people data effectively. You will ensure that the data is accurate, timely, and relevant, enabling leaders to make informed decisions about culture, engagement, retention, and satisfaction. You will also be involved in developing dashboards and reports that provide insights into employee lifecycle questions, helping to foster a healthier and higher-performing organization. Your role will require you to stay updated on best practices in data management and analytics, ensuring that Klaviyo remains at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.
