Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field, with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable systems. Your expertise in AWS and Kubernetes allows you to design robust infrastructure that meets high reliability standards. You are proficient in scripting languages like Python and have experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

You understand the importance of automation in reducing operational toil and have implemented CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes. Your familiarity with monitoring tools and practices ensures that you can proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with development teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Klaviyo, you will be responsible for building and operating the foundational services and infrastructure that support our critical platforms. You will define clear reliability objectives and continuously improve systems based on real production learnings. Your role will involve automating processes to reduce operational overhead and enhance system performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that reliability is treated as a core product feature. This includes working on security, infrastructure, and software development challenges. You will also be involved in capacity planning and incident management, ensuring that our systems can scale effectively while maintaining high availability.
