What you'll do

In this role, you will design, build, and operate backend services that power product recommendations across Klaviyo's platform. You will work closely with the Product Recommendation team to develop systems that process billions of behavioral events, transforming them into real-time, personalized recommendations. Your responsibilities will include developing data ingestion processes, feature generation, and implementing ranking models that enhance the user experience. You will also be involved in exposing APIs that integrate seamlessly with various Klaviyo experiences, such as email and SMS. As a hands-on engineer, you will focus on building scalable systems and data processing frameworks, ensuring that the solutions you create are robust and efficient. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other engineers and product teams, contributing to the overall success of Klaviyo's mission to empower creators.
