Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in analytics and monetization, with a strong background in data analysis and pricing strategy. You are comfortable extracting insights from complex datasets and translating them into actionable business strategies. Your expertise in SQL allows you to build and maintain robust reporting infrastructures that inform key business decisions. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with teams across sales, marketing, product, and finance to drive monetization efforts. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying trends and opportunities within data, ensuring that pricing strategies are data-driven and effective.
Desirable
Experience in API management or cloud technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with business intelligence tools. You have a knack for storytelling with data, enabling you to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels. A background in finance or operations can enhance your ability to contribute to pricing intelligence and strategy development.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build the analytical foundation of Kong's pricing strategy, designing and maintaining core dashboards and reporting tools that track key metrics such as price realization and usage trends. You will define baseline performance measurements and continuously optimize existing pricing models. As the go-to expert for pricing intelligence, you will proactively surface trends and anomalies, providing insights that drive strategic decisions. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and to identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical rigor will directly influence how Kong monetizes its API Management platform, impacting critical systems for some of the world's largest companies.
