What you'll do
As an AI Research Engineer Intern, you will assist in the development of AI companions that interact with players in real-time gaming scenarios. You will work closely with the AI Companion Team to apply large language models (LLM), small language models (SLM), and vision-language models (VLM) to create engaging user experiences. Your responsibilities will include designing and optimizing AI models, conducting experiments to evaluate their effectiveness, and collaborating with other teams to integrate AI solutions into existing games. You will also participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for new applications of AI in gaming. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience in AI research and development, contributing to projects that push the boundaries of gaming technology.
