Who you are

You are a solid full-stack engineer with a strong focus on JavaScript and TypeScript, having experience in building and maintaining both frontend and backend systems. You have a deep understanding of component design and UI state management, and you excel in creating smooth and responsive user interfaces. Your expertise includes optimizing frontend performance, minimizing render latency, and utilizing virtual DOM techniques to enhance user experience.

You have hands-on experience with backend services, particularly using Node.js, and are familiar with database models, including PostgreSQL and Redis for caching and pooling. You are comfortable diagnosing issues related to HTTP/3 and WebSocket, ensuring seamless communication between client and server. Your knowledge extends to real-time image and video generation pipelines, where you drive low-latency API implementations.

You are also familiar with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, which you use to improve system monitoring and alerting. Your experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS EKS GPU clusters and Kubernetes, allows you to scale applications effectively. You have a passion for contributing to open-source projects or side projects that enhance your skills in UI and infrastructure.

Desirable

Experience with enterprise authentication features such as SAML/SSO and SCIM provisioning is a plus. Familiarity with GPU workloads and machine learning pipelines will set you apart as a strong candidate. What you'll do

At Krea, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining APIs and UI flows for both web and mobile applications. You will design interactive and responsive front-end experiences, focusing on features like drag-and-drop functionality and real-time canvas polish. Your work will involve optimizing frontend performance to ensure a seamless user experience, utilizing techniques to minimize render latency and profile UI effectively.

On the backend, you will design and maintain services using Node.js, ensuring robust database models with PostgreSQL and Redis. You will kickstart a Public API project aimed at serving Krea AI models to millions of developers, driving real-time image and video generation pipelines through low-latency APIs. Your role will also involve diagnosing and resolving HTTP/3 and WebSocket-related issues, enhancing the overall performance and reliability of our applications.

You will improve observability and alerting mechanisms using OpenTelemetry tools, ensuring that our systems are monitored effectively. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to scale our infrastructure architecture, leveraging your understanding of AWS EKS GPU clusters and Kubernetes operators. Your contributions will directly impact the development of next-generation AI creative tools that empower human creativity.
