Kronos Research is seeking a Quantitative Analyst for Crypto Options to develop pricing models and automated quoting systems. You'll utilize your skills in Python and financial engineering in a high-performance trading environment.

Who you are

You are a recent graduate or have less than two years of experience in a quantitative field such as Math, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science. You possess exceptional mathematical skills, including calculus, statistics, time-series analysis, and linear algebra. Your strong passion for derivatives pricing and financial engineering drives your interest in this role. You are proficient in Python, particularly for numerical computing, and are familiar with the Linux command-line. You have experience with database usage and data manipulation, which is crucial for this position. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential as you will collaborate closely with your team.

Desirable

It would be beneficial if you have experience with numerical methods or partial differential equations (PDE), as well as a background in machine learning. Knowledge of options trading or volatility modeling will also be advantageous. Proficiency in C++ is a plus, enhancing your ability to contribute to the development of pricing models and automated systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and validate pricing models that are essential for the trading of crypto options. You will develop payoff engines and simulation frameworks that support the pricing process. Implementing data pipelines for research and calibration will be a key responsibility, ensuring that the internal research infrastructure is robust and efficient. You will also contribute to automation tools that streamline processes within the team. Working closely with the team lead, you will gain hands-on exposure to advanced financial engineering concepts and the real-world implementation of derivatives. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of trading operations.
