Who you are

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and you bring at least 2 years of hands-on programming experience, particularly with C++14 in a Linux environment. Your strong understanding of computer systems, multithreading, and performance optimization sets you apart. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your strong written communication skills and intermediate English proficiency allow you to convey complex technical concepts clearly. You have a passion for quantitative trading and a curiosity about cryptocurrency markets, which drives your interest in this role.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at Kronos Research, you will take charge of designing and developing API integrations for crypto exchanges, focusing on the aggregation of quotes and trades, as well as the efficient execution of orders across global exchanges. You will expand the reach of our trading platform, which collects data from and sends orders to exchanges worldwide. Your role will involve creating tools to deploy, monitor, and analyze our production processes, which are crucial to the firm’s success. You will engage directly with traders to communicate technology changes, address incidents, and troubleshoot issues. Additionally, you will contribute to technical discussions, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge internally. You will also be responsible for addressing occasional urgent issues, typically occurring once per month, with support from the entire team.
