Who you are

You have at least 6 years of experience in developing front-end applications — you possess a thorough understanding of TypeScript, React/Next.js/Vercel, HTML, and CSS, and can independently collaborate with designers to create stunning applications. You have experience working on both frontend UIs and backend applications, particularly with large-scale and high-traffic systems. Your background includes familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices, and you have a keen interest in interaction design.

Desirable

Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus, as well as knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes and infrastructure as code using Terraform.

What you'll do

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at LanceDB, you will be responsible for creating compelling user experiences for exploring and managing multimodal data. You will work closely with the team and designers to optimize user experience and build scalable backends for LanceDB Cloud, ensuring a serverless experience for billion-scale datasets. You will also have the opportunity to lead initiatives that raise the bar for architecture and best practices within the company, contributing to the next generation of data systems for AI.
